Your WILL matters to you.
It is a memorial to people and causes that have been important to you during your lifetime. You can directly benefit so many in our community - now and in the future.
Often throughout our lifetime, we wish we could do more for others, be it family and friends, or a favourite charity. But because of financial restraints or family commitments, we are unable to do so.
Your WILL can make a difference.
Your Will offers you the chance to help make a difference long after you are gone. If you don't make a Will, your estate will pass in accordance with the relevant legislation. Many Australians (approximately 50%) do not make a Will, and are deprived of the choice in disposing of their assets.
Once you have made your Will, you can have peace of mind, knowing that your wishes will be carried out as you had planned.
How can I help make a Difference?
There are many things in our lives that have special meaning. In making your Will, you may wish to make provision for your family members and friends. Perhaps giving them items that symbolise years of friendship and love. Such thoughtful gifts will be appreciated and treasured by your loved ones in memory of you.
After your family's needs have been met, a fitting culmination to your life's work is a gift that will continue to help fight disease and suffering.
You can make a difference by giving through your Will to The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation.
