We want you to enjoy planning your event and therefore we have Guidelines that will not only help you, but also uphold the image of the Foundation. It is very important that our policies and organisational procedures are adhered to and protected.
All fundraising activities, whether large or small, must be conducted in accordance with the RHW Foundation guidelines. Your fundraising event must also conform with the relevant guidelines set out by the Australian Taxation office. Please click on New South Wales to see the rules applicable to this state.
Under the Charitable Fundraising Act, 1991, anyone wishing to raise money for charitable purposes must hold an authority to fundraise. So, before you get started on your exciting fundraising adventure, we will need to authorise your fundraising event.
The following guidelines are designed to help you in planning your activity to support the RHW Foundation. Please read the guidelines carefully and then complete, sign and send back the “RHW Foundation Fundraising Expression of Interest Form”.
These guidelines provide the basis for a fundraising event to be organised by the Fundraiser on behalf of the RHW Foundation. For the purposes of these guidelines, “Fundraiser” means the individual or organisation conducting a charitable fundraising event. Please remember that the fundraising event will not be the RHW Foundation’s own event, but an event to raise funds for donating to the RHW Foundation
The Fundraising event shall be conducted in the Fundraiser’s name and is the sole responsibility of the Fundraiser.
